My take…
both.
Both are important, but they need to be showcased in a way that conveys value.
Otherwise, they'll fall flat.
An easy way to show how you’ve used BOTH soft or hard skills to achieve results is this:
(Result + Metric) by (Method), (Stakes/Relevance)
An example is:
Reduced turnover by 85% by mentoring internal sales talent in weekly 30-minute sessions, despite the launch of competing drug in the region.
